hello there!

studying has its benefits... especially when you're at Quack's

Every now and then we all need a little time to ourselves. In the past week or so, I’ve been facing a lot of challenges–family illness, a car break-in, and other personal issues, all while trying to wrap up my semester and take final exams and juggle two jobs. Sorry I haven’t been around much, but I promise, as soon as I turn in my last exam on Saturday, I’m going to… lay out by the pool and throw back a few glasses of white wine sangria. But when I’m done with that, I’ll be posting several times a week. Get ready to explore even more of Austin with me this summer, take advantage of fresh summer produce, and best of all, help me move into my new apartment with a RENOVATED KITCHEN!

Good luck with the rest of your semester, and enjoy these first summer days.

Love,
Natalie

A few of my eats lately:

  1. Dont say another word – we totally understand. I hope you and your family are doing fine and that everything lightens up as soon as possible. It will get better! And sooner than you think. 🙂 Summer in Austin is truly heaven on Earth.

  2. I love the photo you took of the display at Quack’s. I’m sorry things have been rough lately 😦 We’re juniors!*

*not sure if I’m excited about this actually. struggling with the inevitable lapse of time…
